Veggie Sticks with Yogurt Ranch Dip
My kids love eating raw veggies, and they really love it when I make a little yogurt-based ranch dip to go along with them. Do your kids love ranch dressing, but you want to avoid all the less healthy ingredients in a store bought dressing? This easy recipe is entirely yogurt, spices, and some maple syrup, so I feel like I am winning knowing they are dipping their sticks in savory yogurt!
Veggies sticks (cut up from carrots, watermelon radishes, daikon, red and yellow beets, or kohlrabi)
2 cups yogurt (we use our own yogurt from our goats, and I strain it to be a thicker consistency like a store bought Greek yogurt for this recipe)
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 1/2 TBSP onion powder
1 TBSP dried onion flakes
2 tsp dill
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 TBSP maple syrup
Whisk all the ingredients together (besides the veggie sticks), and then serve with the veggie sticks. Enjoy!
